Eco Crews
Together we can make a difference
Our Goal
Eco.Crews are designed to give people space to learn about important environmental issues, build community among the climate concerned, and deepen understandings of individual and systemic levers for action.
Individuals are placed in small groups ("crews") that meet weekly for 6 weeks. Each crew has an expert facilitator to guide the group’s discussions and each week there is a call to action.
The program is open to anyone whether they are climate curious or a climate expert.
How can I participate?
We just wrapped up our 2024 crews and are planning on hosting Chicago and D.C.-based crews in August/September of 2025. If you are interested in joining a crew, complete this interest form here. If you don’t live in Chicago or D.C., please also fill out the form so we can gauge where there is interest in case we decide to expand our crew cities!
Session Topics:
Week 1 - The role of the individual in the systemic challenge
Week 2 - Environmental anxiety
Week 3 - Money’s role in climate
Week 4 - Local advocacy
Week 5 - Climate change communications
Week 6 - Environmental art
Meet the facilitators:
Christina Cilento | DC crew facilitator
Conner Rettig | Chicago crew facilitator
Our Impact
-
I loved being a Climate Change Crews member! The space that Eco.Logic provided was exactly what I needed – a community of folks who are passionate about climate action. The facilitators were resourceful and kept the community engaged!

I loved seeing what every individual uniquely brought to the table. We all shared resources, asked questions of each other, and challenged each other's ideas in the best way possible. After the month, I feel like we only scratched the surface of these issues and can't wait to maintain this community to dig deeper.

The climate crew helped rejuvenate my attitude toward individual action and helped me think through my spheres of influence better. I felt inspired each week to think more broadly about my personal actions and conversations I can have with my peers. Thank you so much!
