Come Along for the Ride:
A Journey through Climate Grief
Come Along for the Ride: A Journey Through Climate Grief is a timely and quirky play that follows the lives of two women navigating life with climate anxiety. One character, Sophie, is a millennial woman living her best life in New York City while also dealing with the challenges of modern dating and climbing the corporate ladder. The other character, Marisol, about to have a child, is an immigrant that traces her migration story to climate change and is terrified of the world she is about to bring her child into.
In 2024, we held three table readings in Chicago at the Climate Action Museum and at Links Hall. Our play was also adapted at performed internationally at the Copenhagen Fringe Festival. Read about it here!
In 2025, we plan to bring our play to life as full productions in Chicago and Washington DC!
