Educational Initiatives
Through youth and adult education programs, eco.logic empowers community members to take action through informed decision making rooted in knowledge.
Adult Programs
Eco.Crews
Eco.Crews are designed to give people space to talk about various environmental issues and help them take action through the support of a community.
Individuals are placed in small groups ("crews") that meet weekly over a 6-week timeframe. Each crew has a facilitator to guide the group’s discussions and each week there is a specific call to action. The program is open to anyone whether they are climate curious or a climate expert.
Land Restoration and Future Experiential Classroom
We are working with a 90 acre farm in Illinois that will be transitioning to organic grain production in 2024. On this farm, we are entrusted with ecosystem restoration on 3 acres. We will be creating a 1.5 acre prairie and 1.5 acre wetland - an attempt to revert part of the land back to its pre-farming state. This site will serve as an experiential classroom for our community and serve as a model for other conventional farms in the area.
Youth Programs
Camp Eco.Logic
Camp Eco.Logic provides opportunities for middle and high school students looking to increase their environmental knowledge and leadership. Campers make friends with others who share a love for the planet and will interact with environmental leaders working on solutions. Participants will leave Camp Eco.Logic feeling empowered to take action!
